Red gemstones are extremely rare to find in nature. Red variants of diamond, beryl, and ruby are among the most expensive stones you can find.
Almandine is the oldest and most common Garnet variant which occurs in many locations, in brown, orange, purple, and red colors. Gem-quality stones have been becoming increasingly rare over the past ten years.
A pure deep red is its most unusual and thus valuable color - and we managed to get our hands on a new batch of deep red Almandine stones and cut them into beads for you - named Red Garnet.
They appear almost brownish and they are hard to capture on camera. But once they are under direct light their beautiful deep red hue shines through.
